Experience, circulation and heritage: An investigation into modes of movement around the National Gallery 

This dissertation argues that heritage is fundamentally concerned with how we as humans dwell in the world, arguing for a phenomenological foundation for heritage theory. It contends that phenomenology leads to ethical and existential questions beyond aesthetics or materiality, reframing heritage management as an ethical engagement with history, place and the conditions of meaningful human existence.
