Historic Alignment: Bargehouse restaurant & bar

This thesis celebrates the history of South Bank’s Bargehouse and the river on which it sits. Inspired by the building’s former use as a ship’s yard, the design converts the disused building into a commercial and catering space, combining nautical elements with architecture. The restaurant specialises in the edible yield of the River Thames from its origins to its North Sea estuary, immersing visitors in their surroundings.
