Micro-Utopia: A journey through new possibilities
This project re-imagines Knightsbridge as a new community neighbourhood ‘disrupted by new thresholds of habitation’. The design-led research reoccupies the empty houses of Kensington to create new spatial possibilities on the ground driven by micro-utopia. The latter celebrates rituals of the everyday as an alternative to the dystopian reality imposed by the free-market economy where the obsession with land and ownership, is replaced by collective acts.
