Reclaiming Collectivity in The Broken City
This thesis challenges the fragmentation of the urban fabric caused by shopping malls, their pseudo-public spaces and the effect of consumerism. It offers a new perspective to create a hybridised shopping pattern that unifies the urban fabric by combining modern recreation patterns and collective-based environments.
