How could the users’ wellbeing benefit from the design of educational environments?
This thesis-by-writing investigates how educational architecture could foster and benefit its users’ wellbeing. The fluid definition, complex nature and conceptual origin of wellbeing was explored through environmental psychology and its translation to architecture. An holistic framework is used to analyse and critique case studies.
