The impacts of adaptive reuse of industrial heritage buildings on the sense of identity and social sustainability
Exploring two case studies, the research found that while adaptive reuse generally strengthens the sense of identity in regenerated areas, it may also enhance social sustainability, but that is highly dependent on the new uses of the industrial heritage buildings.
