Socio-economic Development in Laos and the Sustainability of the Mekong River
With growing socioeconomic development, Laos has begun to take advantage of its natural resources to serve energy demands in SE Asia, however this comes at a cost to the Mekong River which is facing concerns over its future sustainability.
